Gunn Speech and Debate is an award-winning club that prides itself on its ability to get debaters to the highest levels of excellence and create an open community. Our annual summer camp invites all rising 6th to 9th graders—regardless of their experience—to spend a week developing their public speaking and argumentation skills through engaging lessons and drills. Students will be placed in small groups and learn a hybrid debate format that is unique to our program.
Gunn Speech and Debate is nationally ranked across many branches of Speech and Debate. You can be sure that you are being taught by some of the top debaters in the nation. The following are some of our club’s recent achievements:
